Our latest project, a classic Mini Clubman 1275 for classic rallying.
We feel this car is perfect for this class of motorsport, due to the nature of the events.
Came with a blown engine, rod in the gearbox!.
Did eventually find a decent complete 1275 engine but had been left uncovered and the bores were rusty with water ingress. Engine now rebored to 1310cc and fully rebuilt top to bottom. Tuned and ready for action.
New timer and Brantz trip meter installed. Full harness belts, bucket seats and fire extinguisher, roll cage, Cooper S brakes. All lines inside the car and a sump guard fitted. Full service and new Yokohama tyres.
I was hoping to use this car myself but little or no spare time at the moment so is up for sale.
Car is now sold and will be used on HERO events from this year.
